Options

This option lets you simultaneously encode and stream your program to six mount points. It supports a wide range of streaming protocols, including Icecast, Shoutcast, HLS, RTP, and RTMP... as well as major audio codecs such as FLAC, AAC, HE-AAC, MP3, and many others. It also includes a metadata manager that lets you upload or create scripts, ensuring broad compatibility with various systems and formats.

This option complements the “Streaming Extension” option. The “Kantar Media Watermark for Streaming Encoder Mount #1” option applies a digital watermark to one of the six available streaming mounts. Up to three separate options can be used, allowing three of the six mounts provided by the Streaming Extension option to be watermarked, with a different digital watermark applied to each one. Important: If the main “Kantar Media Watermark” option is already installed and applies a watermark to the audio programme, any mounts equipped with the “Streaming Encoder Mount #1”, #2, or #3 options are automatically de-watermarked and then re-watermarked.

Same functionality as “Mount #1”: this option adds a second independent watermark that can be assigned to any of the six mounts available with the “Streaming Extension” option.

Same functionality as for “Mount #1 and Mount #2”: this option adds a third independent watermark, which can be assigned to one of the six mount points provided by the “Streaming Extension” option.

The Kantar Media Watermark extension embeds a digital watermark compliant with the Kantar Media standard into the program. It is used for audience measurement.

Options

Professional MPX-over-IP encoder based on Thimeo’s MicroMPX (µMPX) codec. It sends the full FM composite signal stereo, 19 kHz pilot and RDS from the studio to one or more transmitters. Standard bitrates start at 320 kbit/s (up to 800 kbit/s). With MicroMPX+, rates can go down to 176 kbit/s. Peak control and composite clipping are preserved; typical lossy-codec artefacts (ringing, watery sound) are avoided.

Professional MPX-over-IP encoder using WorldCast’s APTmpX algorithm — the first non-perceptual codec for FM composite signals. It compresses the full multiplex (stereo, pilot, RDS) at 300 / 400 / 600 kbps without breaking the signal apart. Audio transparency, stereo image, peak control and watermarks are preserved.
